I came up with this design with Father’s Day in mind, but this ceramic mug for a fisherman is more versatile than that. A classic white, it has an image of a fishing rod with the phrase “Fishing’s Not Just A Sport It’s A Way Of Life” in black.
It’s available in both 11 ounce and 15 ounce sizes. I tend to lean toward the larger option: I must admit I’m rather free with my cream when drinking coffee. I need the headroom! The different sizes have slightly different styling. The smaller one is a clean, straight sided shape. The large model, however, has a small, shaped foot that gives a graceful profile to the mug.
While certainly a nice option for Father’s Day if there’s a man in your life who like to fish, I can see this being good for just about any other gift-giving occasion. Birthday, anniversary, Christmas – or even a treat for yourself.
