This is a handcrafted latte style mug with thumb rest built into the handle for comfort. The rather dramatic glaze is in shades of green ranging from medium bluish color to a near-black. The graduated colors are reflected on the handle while the interior is black.
The shape is in the general latte-style with a curved, tapered profile. The classic c-shape handle has a nice detail with the integrated thumb rest at the top.
This cup is slightly smaller than the typical at 10 ounces in capacity. But, being made of Kaolin clay fired at high temperatures, it is very practical. It can go from the microwave to the dishwasher with no problems. A great option for those who like a more dramatic, handmade style!
