Celestial imagery is one of my favorite design categories. This fact means I immediately latched onto this Zodiac heat changing mug with moon and stars.
It’s one of those heat sensitive models that changes its appearance with the temperature. When cold it displays a basic pattern of the moon and stars. But when hot, the constellations of the Zodiac – with their names – make an appearance. The black background remains constant with this particular item.
While made of ceramic, it cannot be used in either the microwave or dishwasher. But I can see this cup appealing to anyone who likes astronomy, moon and stars imagery, or astrology.
