Cute Handpainted Mug Longwood Gardens
I found this cute, tall mug in the Longwood Gardens gift shop in March.

I was out at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square back in mid-March, enjoying the first hints of spring. As I usually do, I stopped at the gift shop before leaving to see what they had on offer. The merchandising staff there always has some great finds – and also brings in neat custom items. They came through as always with this super cute tall mug.

I find the irregular, hand painted style to be very charming. The individual elements – planter urns, corbels, fountains – are clearly inspired by the amazing Main Fountain Garden. The centerpiece of these amazing botanical gardens and a major part of Pierre du Pont’s legacy, the Main Fountain complex recently underwent a major restoration that is stunning. And, of course, Longwood has lots of extra merchandise for sale right now celebrating its artistry.

I didn’t buy the mug on this particular visit, but my mom and I are heading out in a couple of days. Fingers crossed this mug is still available!
